Digital cameras - The top 10

If you are looking to get a brand new digital camera, your timing couldn't have been better. PC World has just released their top 10 list of digital cameras (read more). The best option for you would differ from their topper, the HP Photosmart R717 which comes for around $270, depending on your budget and configuration. If you are looking for something low-key but is good enough for the buck, the Olympus FE-120 is also worth checking out. Some of the models are over $350, depending on the resolution, zoom and image modes.

Digital cameras are slated to die a hasty death, with mobile phones packing in more and more megapixels and zoom capabilities, and everything you ever wanting to do will be coming in one neat little device. But for those of us who want to feel like taking a photograph, holding a real camera, this list is a must read.

Free webspace - no banners attached

There are tons and tons of websites out there that give out free webspace, but there is always some catch - you either give out your email address so that they can send you spam for the rest of your lives, or fill your pages with annoying pop-up or banner ads. Well, if you think there is no such thing as a free lunch, think again.

Here are some genuine free webspace that you can use:

1. XTHost.com - This service gives you enough space if you are an amateur. (If you are a pro, you should definitely buy some.) No emails required, no banners at all.

2. FSPHost.com - Suspiciously similar to XTHost service, this one doesn't require email addresses either. You can create an account within 10 seconds of reaching the site and that is it. Easy file upload and delete facilities as well.
